1. Development of Components in Sheet Metal & Welded Assy along with development of Press Tools , Welding Fixtures & Inspection Gauges.
Feasibility study of Component to be developed.
Study of Drawings, Specifications, Raw material & Process for Development.
Getting approval of developed components from Quality Control Deptt.
Conducting Pilot lot as well as bulk lot trials before mass production.
Preparing Purchase Order & Delivery Schedules as per Inventory norms.
2. Arrangements of Components supplies from Vendors - Sheet Metal & Welded Assy.
• Follow up with vendors for Procurement of Material well on Time & meeting Delivery PPM target set by Management.
• Assuring quality of Components under procurement at vendors end along with all necessary documentation required as per Quality Assurance Manual & meeting Quality PPM target set by Management.
• Process Improvisation by making cross functional team to improve Quality & Productivity resulting in Cost Reduction.
Details of Projects Undertaken During Engineering
Manufacturing of Dish Pots / Crockery Washer:
I undertook a project by Sholapur’s local hotel Chain named Kamat Hotels, who wanted to get a low cost and optimum efficiency machine to clean their dish pots / Crockery’s. The main aim and purpose before starting the project was also to customize the system to suit their actual requirements i.e. design a system suit their kind of Crockery’s.
Finally successfully developed a prototype machine and Put in use.
Details of Seminar Presented During Engineering
Overview of Six Sigma:
I have presented the methodology, approach and steps of the Six Sigma (DMAIC) during a 45 min Seminar as a part of our Egg. Curriculum. It was ossom to understand the application of Six Sigma which holds a key role in betterment of current Industrial Process Control and how to reduce the variation in the process or simply a tool giving you a widely acceptable scale to your process towards excellence of that kind.
Key Point: Need to learn more / all steps of Six Sigma and finally implement in daily working process and reduce the variation in the process.
