NRB is a bearing manufacturing company-having leadership in Roller Bearing.It was a QS-9000 certified company now going for TS16949 certification. NRB is having Indian as well as Export (Global) market for Needle Bearing.
Roles, Responsibilities :
Designation: Shift Engineer
· Planning daily production activities
· Allocating and distributing the man power.
· To meet production targets as per PPC dept.
· Continue monitoring and maintain quality of incoming and outgoing materials.
· Handling all Shop floor activities & trouble-shoot problems.
· Handling departmental activities related to TS16949.
· Face internal audits & Customer audits/visits.
· Assist in documentary related function related to production through oracle based ERP system.
· Analysis of Rework & Rejection & implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
· Checking microstructure of needles
· Identification & implementation of Kaizen & Pokayoke activities
· Participating in TPM related activities on shop floor

WORK HIGHLIGHTS:
I am looking over 4 depts.
CUTTING: wire coils which received from wire drawing dept.,are cuts into needles of different sizes.
END FORMING: In this department different types of end form generated on ascut needles.
HEAT TREATMENT: Heat treatment dept. consist of two types of furnaces a) shekar hearth furnace & b) Tilting rotary retort furnace. Required HRC (60-65) obtained on needles by through hardening process.
GRINDING (OD GRINDING):. Consists of centreless grinding machines for O.D. grinding ,& superfinishing ( Supfina ) machines. The Main function is to grind the needles in the specified diameter range Then Polishing is done in specified diameter group Quality checks like diameter, geometry - taper, convexity & concavity , Circularity , Cylindricity , Ovality , Surface roughness are performed .
Academic Background:
· Bachelors of Engineering (BE): Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College Aurangabad. From 2002–2005, Specialization in Production Engineering.
Marks Obtained: - Distention with 71.53% [1073/1500]

Project Work Pursued During Engineering
Title: String Milling Fixture with Pneumatic clamping
Objective: To design and fabricate a fixture which can hold max no. of cylindrical work pieces such that it will reduce auxiliary time.
Project Description:
· The operator can load 4 work pieces at a time in a straight row with the help of V-locators &.
· Clamping & Unclamping of the job is done by pneumatic cylinders by using two way valve.
